The Best Laid Plans Of Mice And Men
In April I wrote an article titled " Read, Write, Learn and Exercise ." There I said that I had decided to take better care of myself – to read something every day, exercise every day and learn something new every day, amongst other things. All in the interest of self-improvement. I don't know so much about the exercise part because work usually wins the contest. Yesterday and today I thought about riding my bicycle, but just couldn't get around to doing it. Maybe tomorrow I will. The well-known quote from the famous writer, Robert Burns came to mind, "The best-laid plans of mice and men." So I'm human like everyone else. I'm just very thankful that the back pain of last year never returned. Probably because I have been paying more attention to my posture. Whenever I catch myself slouching or walking wrong I stretch and set my body right. Today I caught up with my writing, so I feel better after that (2375 words). Hopefully, if I practice eno...
