How I Baked My First Quiche

Image
Hi, my name is Crystal and I'm a guest-blogger on my grandfather's blog. "I came to my grandparents' house very early in the morning with a full packet of ingredients to start baking. my oumie told me we were going to be baking a lot, so we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. We first did the savoury quiche where we started chopping and then doing the pastry and then it went in the oven. Next, we made the sweet dessert were all we did was beat orange jelly and vaporised milk and turned it together and added tennis biscuits and in the fridge it went. Lastly, we made a chocolate smartie cake where all we did was put the main ingredients of a cake in and decorated it with smarties and then we washed the dishes and cleaned up. I really enjoyed my time with oumie and oupie. I learned a lot today. Now I can relax for the rest of the day." It was a pleasant surprise to have my granddaughter with us today. We were not sure how we were going to keep her occupi

Supa-Fit Your Car

December is a good time to Supa-Fit your car. Many people take a break to the family on the coast or elsewhere. The roads are very busy and the last thing you want is to have a problem with your car during this time. A good idea is to have your car checked before the time. If you live in Bonaero Park, Kempton Park, Benoni and surrounding areas then why not try Supa-Fit Mechanical Workshop at the GT Centre next to the Great North Road in Pomona. Supa-Fit is a one-stop vehicle repair and maintenance shop. They cater for tyres, balancing and wheel alignment, keeping you safer on the road. They also do car service, exhausts, brakes, batteries and general vehicle maintenance in their well-equipped workshop. I once had a terrible accident towing a caravan which I loaned from my father-in-law who forgot to tell me to have the cv joints checked before going on holiday. Needless to say, we almost lost our lives in that accident and the caravan was a write-off and I had to buy him anothe

On My Bicycle

Follow my blog with Bloglovin I have just written a new blog post about being on my bicycle and how it actually came about. It is probably the reason why I still cycle today, because when I was very young, I got on a friend's bicycle and the cycling bug bit me. Riding is one of my favourite ways of getting rid of stress and to unwind. When I ride it feels like I'm flying in an aeroplane with an open cockpit. Maybe this sounds a bit silly, but I can feel the wind over my skin and smell the scents coming from grass and trees and flowers and someone making a braai (barbeque). On my bicycle, I feel free!
